Perfect Parfait

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened, full fat yogurt, preferably made at a small local dairy
  • 1/3 cup Nutty Steph's
  •  
  • Eat and feel satisfied.

Granola Apple Holiday Bundt Cake

  • Mix Dry:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola
  • 1 cup diced apples
  •  
  • Mix Wet:
  • 1/8 lb butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup applesauce
  •  
  • Make a pit in the dry mix and pour the wet mix into the middle. Fold until just moistened. Put 2 ice cream scoops worth into a mini loaf pan. Top with Nutty Steph's Topping (below) and bake.

  • 1 cup Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola
  • 2 T maple syrup
  • 2 T butter

    Milkshake

    (Or: how to eat Nutty Steph's if your teeth are failing)

    • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
    • 1 cup Nutty Steph's
    •  
    • Blend in a blender or with a hand blending wand.
    • Drink and enjoy tremendously.

    Perfect Winter Morning

    • Make oatmeal. (Unsweetened whole oats, slow-cooked starting in cool water)
    • Sprinkle it with Nutty Steph's.
    • Add dried cranberries.
    • Bathe in pure maple syrup and a dash of whole milk.
    • Eat slowly, esp. while watching snow.

    Cookies and Muffins

    • Just like you're used to, but add 1 1/2 cups Nutty Steph's to the batter
    • You may find them more delicious than ever.

    NuttyFried Chicken

    • Crumble up 1 1/2 cups Nutty Steph's
    • Cut 4 chicken breasts into strips and moisten in melted butter.
    • Roll chicken in Nutty Steph's crumble and bake until golden brown.
    • Squawk with delight.

    Steph's Nutty Cinnamon Rolls

    • 1 1/2 Bread Dough (pre-made or handmade)
    • 1 stick of butter
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 1/2 cups of Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola
    •   Roll out the bread dough, cooled, into a rectangle the size of a baking sheet. Spread with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, then Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola. Roll it up, slice it up, then set buns flat (swirling side up) on baking sheet. Bake until light golden. Enjoy!

    Granola Fondue

    • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
    • 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 1/4 cups warm milk
    • 5 egg yolks, lightly beaten
    • 1/4 cup granola
    • 3/4 cup grated parmesan
    • Dippers: whole wheat bread chunks, raw vegetables, apples

    • Melt the butter in a large saucepan and stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook over low heat for a few minutes. Off the heat gradually stir in the milk, then return to the heat and cook until the mixture is smooth and has thickened slightly. Add some of the milk to the egg yolks to warm them, then stir the eggs into the milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Stir in the granola and cheese and serve with dippers. Makes about 6 servings.
